19-Car Accident Snarls Morning Traffic on I-5

A 19-car pileup on Interstate 5 early Friday left four people injured and snarled traffic for hours, officials said.
The victims were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The chain-reaction crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. near Camino de Estrella. Although it was not raining at the time, officers said the pavement was wet. The accident remains under investigation.
A SigAlert was issued because one lane of the freeway was closed. The lane was reopened about two hours later.
