Two Are Detained After Student Is Stabbed
A continuation school student was stabbed in the neck Tuesday during an argument, police said. The wound is considered superficial, officials said.
The boy was attacked about noon by another minor, Garden Grove Police Lt. Mike Handfield said.
“It was kind of a spill-over argument” that began at the Haster Day School, he said.
He said two groups of students were arguing. The victim ran and the assailant chased him. The victim turned and was stabbed on the side of the throat.
Two people were detained for questioning, Handfield said.
