From Times Staff Reports

Orange Lutheran’s football team, ranked No. 11 in the Southland this season without its starting quarterback, will have Seth Blackamore in the lineup for “a fair amount of time” on Thursday for its Empire League game against Cypress at Brea Olinda High, Lancer Coach Jim Kunau said.

Blackamore, who suffered a torn knee ligament the first week of August, participated in two plays in a 42-14 victory over Anaheim Loara on Friday.

He had a pass batted down and he handed off.

Orange Lutheran plays at No. 18 Placentia Valencia (8-0) on Nov. 12 in what is expected to be a battle for the league title.
