Man Will Face Trial in Shooting Deaths of Teens
From Times Staff Reports
A San Bernardino County Superior Court judge ruled Tuesday there was sufficient cause to justify a double-murder trial for a 22-year-old man charged with the January slaying of two Rancho Cucamonga High School students.
Lanny Woosley is charged with using a machine gun to kill seniors Blake Harris, 18, and Christopher Heyman, 17, atop the Haven Avenue overpass of the Foothill Freeway on Jan. 18. The charges make Woosley eligible for the death penalty if he is convicted.
