Update -- It’s another difficult interconference game for the Avengers, who lost in overtime to Orlando last week, 55-54. The defeat again highlighted the Avengers as non-finishers -- they settled for field goals five times and made four. They have the second-worst touchdown percentage in the Arena Football League, yet they rank second in scoring efficiency, a tribute to their habit of getting field goals. Remy Hamilton needs 17 points to become the third kicker in AFL history to reach 1,000 points. He had 16 points against Orlando last week. Like the Avengers, New York has lost two of its last three. The Dragons have intercepted 18 passes, tops in the league. The Avengers are second with 15. Dragon quarterback Aaron Garcia leads the league in passing with a 122.3 rating.
