Former Officer Charged in Bribery, Sex Assaults
A former Cathedral City police officer was charged Friday with felony bribery and sexual assault, authorities said.
Larry Curtis Lee is accused of offering to reduce or forgo a citation in exchange for sexual favors during two traffic stops of women in October and January, according to the Riverside County district attorney’s office.
Lee has been charged with attempted bribery by a public employee and sexual assault under color of authority, and faces 12 years in state prison.
Prosecutors have requested bail be set at $50,000.
