Pair in Apparent Fight Are Shot, Seriously Hurt
Two men were shot and seriously injured Monday in an apparent altercation in an Anaheim cul-de-sac, police said.
Found at about 1:50 p.m. in a driveway in the 100 block of North Belinda Circle, the men were treated by paramedics and taken to hospitals, said Sgt. Rick Martinez, a spokesman for the Anaheim Police Department. The men’s names were not released.
Both men were injured with the same gun, Martinez said, but it was not immediately clear what had happened. “We don’t know if there was a struggle ... or if one man turned the gun on himself,” he said, adding that the shootings did not appear to be gang-related.
