Chicago Bear safety Mike Brown and starting right guard Terrence Metcalf will sit out today’s game in Pittsburgh because of injuries.

Brown strained a calf muscle in practice Thursday and Metcalf separated his shoulder in last week’s game against Green Bay.

Mike Green or Brandon McGowan will replace Brown in the Bears’ secondary, which is already without its other starting safety, Chris Harris, who strained his knee last week against the Packers. Todd Johnson will take his place.
