Five Pacers in Brawl Seek Separate Trials
The five Indiana Pacers charged in a brawl with fans during a game against the Detroit Pistons are asking for separate trials.
Lawyers for Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, Anthony Johnson, Jermaine O’Neal and David Harrison filed the motion Friday, Jackson’s lawyer James Burdick said. Friday was the deadline for motions in all the cases related to the Nov. 19 incident at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Minnesota Timberwolves activated forward Mark Madsen and put forward Eddie Griffin, who broke a finger in his left hand in Thursday’s loss to the Clippers, on the injured list.

The Milwaukee Bucks waived forward Alan Henderson, a day after acquiring him from the Dallas Mavericks. The Bucks traded forward Keith Van Horn to Dallas for Henderson and center Calvin Booth.
