Two Men Fatally Shot During Argument

An argument between two men in South Los Angeles escalated into a shooting that left both dead, Los Angeles police said Sunday.
The incident occurred about 5 p.m. Saturday near 43rd Street and Compton Avenue, police said. One man was identified by police as Hermillo Ortega, 44. The other man, presumed to be 35, had not been identified.
The men were pronounced dead at nearby hospitals.
