Deputy D.A. Killed in Head-On Collision

Jennifer Brooks, 33, a San Bernardino County deputy district attorney, was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision on Greenspot Road while driving from her home in Yucaipa to work in Rancho Cucamonga.
She was declared dead at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Brooks would have marked her five-year anniversary with the office next month. A member of the district attorney’s felony trial staff, Brooks had a caseload that included two murder prosecutions.
