Woman, 72, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a 72-year-old woman Thursday night, according to Los Angeles police.
The incident occurred about 10:40 p.m. in the 13700 block of Marchant Avenue, police said.
Police know of no witnesses and have no description of the vehicle.
