BOYS’ WATER POLO

* Jake Karluk, Ventura: Scored five goals, including the game-winner with 41 seconds left, in the Cougars’ 11-10 upset over Ventura Buena, the No. 6-ranked team in Division IV.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

* Anna Higane, Arcadia: Did not lose a game in three sets at No. 2 singles as the host Apaches, ranked No. 6 in Division II, defeated Pacific League rival Glendale, 18-0.
