BOYS’ BASKETBALL

* Russell Westbrook, Lawndale Leuzinger: Finished with 51 points and 14 rebounds in an 81-65 intersectional victory over Carson.

* Jarrid Bryant, Corona Centennial: The sophomore came off the bench to make eight three-pointers and finish with 35 points in a 78-63 nonleague victory over San Bernardino San Gorgonio.

* Jonas Lalehzadeh, Irvine University: Had 28 points and made two free throws with one second left in overtime in a 63-62 nonleague victory over Rancho Santa Margarita Tesoro.

* Stephen Steward, Mission Hills Alemany: Scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half, including three free throws with four seconds remaining, to lift the Indians to a 49-46 Mission League victory at Encino Crespi.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

* Courtney Ford, Villa Park: Had 17 points, 12 rebounds and six steals for the Spartans, ranked No. 11 by The Times, in a 47-36 victory over Orange El Modena in a Century League opener.

* Roslyn Angilau, Reseda: Had 25 points and seven assists, including the winning three-pointer with 20 seconds left, in a 73-70 victory over Bell in pool play of the Garfield tournament.

* Kavita Goss, Newbury Park: Scored 33 of her school-record 43 points in the first half and had 12 rebounds in a 70-61 win over Marmonte League rival Moorpark.

BOYS’ SOCCER

* Luis Miguel, San Clemente: Scored both goals in a 2-1 South Coast League win over Dana Point Dana Hills.

* Tito Mejia, Bellflower St. John Bosco: Assisted on the first goal and scored the winning goal in the 58th minute as the Braves beat Serra League rival Santa Margarita, 2-1, for the first time.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

* Hannah Jacobson, Santa Monica Crossroads: Had two goals and three assists to lead the Roadrunners to a 7-4 Alpha League victory over Downey Calvary Chapel.

* Tatiana Aguirre, L.A. Fairfax: Scored three goals to lead the Lions to a 4-0 victory over Wilmington Banning in a quarterfinal of the Garfield tournament.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

* Stephanie Rosero, Downey: Scored eight goals in the Vikings’ 11-10 nonleague victory at North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake.
