1 Dead, 1 Wounded in Probable Gang Shooting

One boy was killed and another was wounded Friday in what police described as a probable gang-related shooting.
Luis Serrato, 16, of Santa Ana died at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana after the shooting in the 300 block of West Camile Street about 5 p.m., police said.
Flavio Arellano, 17, underwent surgery. His injuries were not life-threatening, according to authorities.
The incident is being investigated by the Police Department’s gang detail, a spokesman said.
