Record vs. Dynamo -- 0-0-1.

Update -- A victory would put Chivas into second place ahead of the Dynamo in the Western Conference standings. Houston, which is one point ahead of Chivas, has a seven-game unbeaten streak but is coming off a disappointing 1-1 tie against Columbus. In that game, U.S. national team forward Brian Ching scored his first goal since returning from the World Cup. Chivas is unbeaten in its last six games, has tied its last three road games and has lost once since May 20, a span of nine games. Forward Ante Razov, who is one yellow card from a suspension, leads MLS with 10 goals but has been shut out since June 18. The teams played to a 1-1 tie 10 days ago at the Home Depot Center, with Chivas midfielder Jesse Marsch scoring his first goal of the season after his missed slide tackle allowed Houston to score.
