The redshirt junior passed for 413 yards and six touchdowns while setting two school records to lead the Warriors to a 63-10 victory over host Utah State.

Brennan’s six touchdown passes give him 39, the most in a single season. Timmy Chang held the previous mark of 38 set in 2004.

Brennan, who transferred to Hawaii from Saddleback College, also set a record for the most passes without an interception. Before having a pass intercepted by safety Terrance Washington in the third quarter, he had thrown 182 times without an interception.

Chang held the previous record of 178, which was also set in 2004.

After the victory, Hawaii accepted an invitation to its hometown Hawaii Bowl. With five games left, Brennan has a chance to break the NCAA Division I-A single-season record for touchdown passes of 54, set by Houston’s David Klingler in 1990.
