Woman Injured by Brick Thrown From Overpass
A woman suffered a broken arm after teenage boys threw concrete bricks onto a highway from an overpass late Tuesday, authorities said.
Authorities are searching for five teenagers who flung the bricks onto Highway 30 from Central Avenue, said Officer Albert Graciano of the California Highway Patrol Inland Division.
Victoria Bennett, 43, of Highland was treated at a local hospital for her injuries after one of the bricks crashed through her windshield.
Police detained one suspect in the area who had an outstanding warrant but determined that he was not involved. The teenagers were last seen running north on Central.
