Chiropractor Charged With Assaulting Patients

A chiropractor was charged Thursday with sexually assaulting two of his female patients during examinations.
Thomas Dickershaid, 65, was charged with 10 felony counts, including forcible rape and sodomy. Both carry a maximum penalty of life in prison, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Dickershaid was arrested Oct. 11 and released the next day after posting $200,000 bail, police said.
