From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A wildfire intermittently closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass on Tuesday, burning at least 100 acres of grass and low brush on the east side of the freeway.

U.S. Forest Service officials were investigating the cause of the fire, which ignited near the Kenwood Avenue offramp near Devore just after 4 p.m. As two northbound lanes opened about 5:30 p.m., a motor home caught fire in one of the lanes, leading to another, hourlong closure.
