* Golden State 105, at Denver 95: The Warriors used a late 10-4 run to end a seven-game losing streak at Denver while also stopping the Nuggets’ season-high seven-game winning streak. Baron Davis scored 28 points and Stephen Jackson added 23 to help Golden State prevail at Denver for the first time since Feb. 24, 2003. Carmelo Anthony had 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Nuggets.

* Chicago 100, at New York 83: Ben Gordon scored 25 points in his second consecutive strong performance since returning to a reserve role under interim Coach Jim Boylan, who improved to 2-0 in guiding the Bulls since Scott Skiles’ firing. Gordon, the NBA’s sixth man of the year as a rookie in 2004-05, scored 31 points Friday in a victory over Milwaukee. He made 11 of 15 shots Sunday in sending New York to its fourth straight loss.

* Phoenix 117, at Sacramento 102: Amare Stoudemire finished with 31 points and 17 rebounds and the Suns featured six-double figure scorers. Shawn Marion made five three-point baskets and had 25 points. Meanwhile, the Kings learned Ron Artest could face surgery this week to remove chipped bone fragments in his right elbow. Sacramento is already without leading scorer Kevin Martin (groin) and Mike Bibby (thumb).

* at San Antonio 111, Memphis 87: Tony Parker and Tim Duncan each scored 24 points to help hand the Grizzlies their fifth straight loss. Duncan also grabbed 17 rebounds and Parker had nine assists. Michael Finley scored 22 points, including five three-pointers, for the Spurs. The Spurs won the season series, 3-1. The Grizzlies have lost eight of their last 10 games.

* at Portland 97, Philadelphia 72: Trailing by four with 1:24 left in the third quarter, the Trail Blazers held the 76ers scoreless for the next 8:21 in winning their 13th straight game.

* Boston 110, at Lakers 91: The Celtics swept the season series to run the league’s best record to 26-3 and extend their winning streak to six. They also went 4-0 on their trip.
