Fausto Carmona’s sinker devastated the Minnesota Twins.

“It’s not normal,” Torii Hunter said of Carmona’s go-to pitch. “He’s not even human. It was so scary, I thought I was hung over.”

Carmona (5-1) pitched a four-hitter for his first career shutout and beat Johan Santana for the second time in less than a month as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Twins, 2-0, to complete a three-game sweep.

Santana (4-4) gave up consecutive home runs to Victor Martinez and Ryan Garko in the seventh.

New York reliever Kyle Farnsworth said it’s unfair that Roger Clemens’ deal lets him leave the team when he’s not pitching, but said that he didn’t see it as a problem, adding, “It’s just an opinion of mine. I don’t think it’s a concern at all. You guys asked my opinion about it and I gave it.”
