* at Purdue 31, Iowa 6: Curtis Painter passed for 315 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Boilermakers (6-2, 2-2) over the Hawkeyes (3-5, 1-4) at West Lafayette, Ind. It was the fewest points Iowa scored against Purdue since a 21-0 loss to the Boilermakers in 1976.
