There might not be an NFL team that plays locally, but let’s face it, thousands of us have fantasy league rosters that we draft and manage. Each week, Times NFL writer Sam Farmer will offer a few tips to the wise:

*--* PLAY HIM Kurt Warner QB, Arizona Warner always gets up for this game, and now he has a pair of healthy receivers. Matt Forte RB, Chicago Forte has to be looking forward to facing a Detroit defense ranked next-to-last against the run. Reggie Wayne WR, Indianapolis The Colts will be throwing early and often against a beat-up Patriots defense. BENCH HIM Aaron Rodgers QB, Green Bay Good as he has been this season, Rodgers is facing a smothering defense at Tennessee. Steve Slaton Although he has five touchdowns, he struggled to gain yards against Cincinnati. Now, he’s at RB, Houston Minnesota. Torry Holt The onetime fantasy star has averaged 41 yards a game and has scored only one touchdown this WR, St. Louis season. GIVE HIM A CHANCE Chad Pennington QB, Miami He’s coming off a big week, and every quarterback gets saucer eyes against Denver’s defense. Michael Turner Turner has gone two weeks without a touchdown, but stopping the run has been a problem for the RB, Atlanta Raiders. Greg Camarillo He’s not well known now, but Camarillo is due for a breakout week -- especially with all eyes on WR, Miami Ted Ginn Jr. *--*
