Boston 89, at New Orleans 77: Paul Pierce scored 30 points and the Celtics spoiled Chris Paul’s return from injury. Boston pulled away despite the absence of Ray Allen, who hyperextended his right thumb in the first half. He is expected to play tonight against Dallas.

at Cleveland 109, Phoenix 92: In his first home game since being named an All-Star, Mo Williams scored a career-high 44 points and LeBron James added 26 for the Cavaliers. Williams made 18 of 26 shots. Steve Nash didn’t dress for the Suns because of soreness.

at Toronto 91, San Antonio 89: Roko Ukic scored a career-high 22 points, Andrea Bargnani had 23 and the Raptors, without Chris Bosh and Jose Calderon, beat the Spurs, who had won 11 of 13 and got 32 points from Manu Ginobili.

at Philadelphia 91, Memphis 87: Andre Iguodala scored 18 points and made the winning basket with 26 seconds left, lifting the 76ers to their fourth consecutive victory.

at Charlotte 101, Washington 89: D.J. Augustin scored 24 points and Vladimir Radmanovic added 21 points in another strong game for his new team. Augustin and Radmanovic combined to make nine of 17 three-pointers.

Atlanta 99, at Detroit 95: If the postseason started Wednesday, the Hawks would have hosted the Pistons, and, led by Joe Johnson’s 27 points, they had too much energy, talent and offensive options for Detroit.

at Milwaukee 122, Indiana 110: Richard Jefferson scored 22 of his 32 points in the second half and Ramon Sessions added 15 points and a season-high 17 assists, as the Bucks handed the Pacers their ninth loss in a row on the road.

at Houston 94, Sacramento 82: With Tracy McGrady sitting out his 18th game of the season because of injuries, Yao Ming had 24 points and 18 rebounds, and Rafer Alston dished out a season-high 13 assists.

at Portland 106, Oklahoma City 92: Brandon Roy scored 22 points to lead six Trail Blazers in double figures.

at Utah 113, Lakers 109: Deron Williams had 31 points and 11 assists as the Jazz ended the Lakers’ seven-game winning streak.

at Clippers 128, New York 124 (OT): The Clippers made 15 three-pointers as they improved to 6-20 at home.
