A common postgame response to questions after NFL games is “I have to wait to see the film.” Times NFL writer Sam Farmer sorts through the best of Monday’s film review:

Jared Allen, Vikings defensive end, responding on FoxSports.com to comments by Baltimore Ravens rookie tackle Michael Oher that “there’s nothing really special” about the Minnesota defensive star:

“That’s just a rookie trying to build his self-confidence up. Besides, you lost and your quarterback spent his whole day on the back of his head until the fourth quarter. That guy will watch film today and realize. Everybody else in the world saw me abuse him.”

Tom Cable, Oakland Raiders coach, on the team’s second victory:

“Let’s develop a team and an organization that has struggled to win the last few years. You don’t just flip a switch and do that overnight. You don’t wake up the next day and everything is rosy. There’s a process to get there.”

Andy Reid, Philadelphia Eagles coach, on why his team didn’t try the wildcat formation with Michael Vick in the loss to the Raiders. Vick was in for two plays:
