Update: This week promises to be hectic for the Galaxy, which plays host to Chicago in an MLS game on Sunday, travels to Puerto Rico on Monday to play the Puerto Rico Islanders in a CONCACAF Champions League qualifier on Wednesday, and returns on Thursday to play Real Madrid in a friendly at the Rose Bowl on Saturday. The Galaxy leads MLS, but the Fire will be the team of interest on Sunday, having acquired two designated players. Chicago first signed Mexican national team midfielder Nery Castillo and then, in a trade with Seattle, acquired former Swedish World Cup midfielder Freddie Ljungberg. Both will be available Sunday.
