Rockets defeat Timberwolves in triple overtime
at Houston 120, Minnesota 114 (3OT): Aaron Brooks scored a career-high 43 points, Chuck Hayes grabbed a career-best 17 rebounds and the Rockets won in triple overtime. Al Jefferson pulled down a franchise-record 26 rebounds and scored 26 points for the Timberwolves.
at Denver 115, Orlando 97: Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and Chauncey Billups added 24 as the Nuggets won for the fourth time in five games. Matt Barnes scored a season-high 28 points for the Magic.
San Antonio 109, at Oklahoma City 108 (OT): Rookie DeJuan Blair set career highs with 28 points and 21 rebounds while filling in for Tim Duncan, and Richard Jefferson made the game-winning jumper for the Spurs with 9.1 seconds left in overtime.
Boston 111, at New Jersey 87: Paul Pierce scored 24 points in 28 minutes and the Celtics handed the Nets (3-35) a sixth loss in a row.
at Atlanta 94, Washington 82: Joe Johnson scored 24 points and the sluggish Hawks won their third in a row.
New York 93, at Philadelphia 92: David Lee scored 24 points and made the winning layup with 13.3 seconds left.
at Portland 120, Milwaukee 108: Brandon Roy scored 22 points before sitting much of the second half with a tight right hamstring.
Miami 115, at Golden State 102: Dwyane Wade shook off an injured wrist to score 35 points.
