As founder of Counts Law Firm PC, Emahn Counts has dedicated more than 20 years to resolving complex family, business and real estate disputes for clients across Southern California. Known for his practical, no-nonsense approach, he has personally handled over 1,000 cases, including high-stakes custody, support and property matters. Before establishing his firm, Counts served as man- aging attorney for the Pasadena office of a nationwide litigation firm, representing major clients like American Express and Porsche. A graduate of Loyola Law School and Loyola Marymount University, he earned Law Review honors and was a Trial Advocacy Team champion. He is active in the legal community as an ambassador for LMU’s African American Alumni Association and engages in bar associations that advance diversity and equity.
