With 38 years of experience, he leads the firm’s mass tort and wildfire litigation, having secured $331 million in wildfire settlements in 2024 alone. McNicholas currently represents more victims in the Eaton Fire litigation against SoCal Edison than any other firm and was co-lead counsel in the Dixie and Creek Fire cases. He also served as lead counsel in a $4-billion settlement with Los Angeles County for sexual abuse in juvenile detention centers - believed to be the largest such municipal resolution in U.S. history.
