Sasha Frid is a founding partner at Miller Barondess, LLP and head of the firm’s entertainment practice, widely regarded as a top trial lawyer for major figures in music and media. With over two decades of experience, he has delivered high-stakes wins for clients like Mötley Crüe, Logic and Smokey Robinson in matters ranging from copyright and breach of contract to royalty disputes. Frid’s recent work includes defending Mötley Crüe in litigation with former bandmate Mick Mars, resolving royalty claims for Bush’s Gavin Rossdale and representing Warner Records in a copyright suit over rapper Phora’s debut album. A member of the Recording Academy® and GRAMMY voter, he is also active in charitable work, supporting cancer research and previously serving on the board of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
