Stanton “Larry” Stein is a partner at Russ August & Kabat and head of the firm’s media and entertainment group. A litigator with over five decades of experience, he represents high-profile artists, influencers and entertainment companies in disputes involving copyright, profit participation, privacy and publicity. Stein’s clients have included Drake, Post Malone, the Estate of Donna Summer and Grade A Productions. He was among the first to challenge studio accounting practices, reshaping how profit participants negotiate with vertically integrated media entities. He serves on several nonprofit boards, including Public Counsel and the Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research.
