Chris Beckwith had two hits, scored three runs and drove in a run and Jared Mills had two hits and an RBI for L.A. CES (1-2). Wes Hayashi pitched a complete game, giving up seven hits and one earned run. He had six strikeouts and walked two.

L.A. Jordan 10, Franklin 2
Junior Ray White allowed only two hits and no earned runs in six innings, striking out nine to improve to 2-0 for the visiting Bulldogs (3-0). He also pitched a no-hitter against Gardena in a 10-0 victory on Monday. Junior catcher Moises Barrientos had three hits, including two doubles, and three runs batted in. At the plate, White also had two hits, including a triple.

Locke 10, Hollywood 4
Jamel Wells went three for three with a home run and three RBIs and pitcher Abraham Flores gave up one hit in five innings for host Locke (1-1-2). Hollywood is 0-4.

Jerry Duran had three hits and two doubles and Jordan Alcandar addded one double and three RBIs to lead Venice (3-2).

Matt Dominguez, a 14-year-old freshman, drove in three runs with a triple and double to lead the Chancellors (1-0), last year’s national champion, to victory in a pool-play game of the Westside tournament.Jason Dominguez, a senior in his fourth year on varsity, pitched a five-hitter. Matt Nevarez of San Fernando struck out eight in the first three innings and had two doubles.

Tony Egues went four for four with two RBIs and two runs scored to lead visiting Canoga Park (2-1). Sophomore Jess Willard went four for four and had three runs batted in and Xavier Elder hit a solo home run in the second inning for Crenshaw (1-1).

Michael Soto (1-0) pitched six no-hit innings and struck out five for host Granada Hills Kennedy (0-1). Art Martin went two for two with two RBIs for the Golden Cougars. Granada Hills is 0-1.

Pasqual Olmos (1-0) threw a six-hitter and struck out four and Eric Cordoba went three for four, including a double and triple, and three RBIs to lead visiting Fairfax (1-0) past Hollywood (0-1).
