Westchester 70, Baton Rouge (La.) LSU Lab 58
The Comets (9-0), ranked No. 1 by The Times and second in the nation, got 17 points from Gabriel Pruitt and 14 from Marcus Johnson. LSU-bound 6-8, 334-pound center Glen Davis had a game-high 35 points and grabbed 20 rebounds on his way to tournament MVP honors for LSU Lab (10-3).

Mike Danielian scored 30 points, including six three-point baskets, to lead Grant. Desmond Eaton had 22 points and 12 rebounds for L.A. University (2-4).

Seventh place

Joey Temple had 15 points to lead Verdugo Hills (3-12) past Van Nuys (3-4). Jose Gabriel had 12 points for Van Nuys (3-2).

Gabriel Pruitt scored 23 points to lead the Comets, the nation’s second-ranked team, to the tounament championship. Marcus Johnson added 15 points, Jerard Moret scored 12 and Craig Roddick grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for Westchester, which will play Baton Rouge (La.) LSU Lab in the championship game Tuesday.
