Loyola 0, Peninsula 0 (Loyola wins on penalty kicks, 4-3)
Sophomore Blayze Hanson scored the game-winning penalty kick to lead visiting Loyola (25-4-3). Conor Harding made two saves in the round of penalty kicks to preserve the victory for the Cubs (25-4-3), who posted their 19th shutout of the season. Peninsula finishes 13-11-3.

St. Bernard 3, Villanova Prep 1
Michael Harb, Ricky Leon and Kyle Mitchell each scored a goal for host St. Bernard (9-7-6), which plays at Carpenteria on Tuesday. Villanova Prep is 12-7.

DIVISION I

Bell Gardens 2, Redlands East Valley 0
Francisco Escobedo and Javier Delgadillo each scored one goal to lead host Bell Gardens (17-4-3). Goalie Pablo Gradejeda recorded his 12th shutout for the Lancers, who have scored 11 goals and allowed none in the playoffs. Fourth-seeded Redlands East Valley is 22-3-2.

Diamond Ranch 1, Santa Margarita 0 (sudden death)
Aldo Luna scored the game-winning goal in the fifth minute of sudden-death overtime for visiting Diamond Ranch (21-3-3), the No. 3 seed in Division I. Santa Margarita is 16-7-4.

Esperanza 2, Ayala 0
Matt Kristoff and Jeff Clark both scored one goal to lead visiting Esperanza (24-4-3). Goalie Brad Ameluyen made eight saves for Ayala.

Quartz Hill 1, Damien 0
Casey Jenison scored in the 50th minute and goalie Mike Davis made 10 saves for his 13th shutout as host Quartz Hill (19-6-1) upset top-seeded Damien (26-3-2). Goalie Michael Davis made six saves, including one in the final two minutes, to preserve the win for Quartz Hill.

Riverside Poly 1, Calabasas 0 (OT)
Sammy Ochoa scored from 25 yards out on a right-footed shot with three minutes left in overtime in the game at Oaks Christian. Ochoa, who transferred back to Poly late last month after attending a continuation school since September, connected on his game-winning goal while dribbling the ball to his right.

“I knew I hit it well,” Ochoa said about his seventh goal since regaining his eligibility eight games ago. “When I shot it, I thought, ‘Oh, I hit it right on money.’ ”

It was the third shutout in three playoff games for Poly (22-4-2) and propeled the Bears into the seimifinals for the first time since 2000. Poly will play the winner of Friday’s Loyola-Peninsula game in a semifinal Tuesday.

Calabasas (18-5-5) had defeated No. 2-seeded Santa Barbara, 1-0, in double overtime in the first round, and Tesoro in a shootout in the second round after the score was tied, 2-2, after two overtimes.

Thousand Oaks 1, Newport Harbor 0 (sudden death)
Jason Leopoldo scored in the 5th minute of sudden death to lift visiting Thousand Oaks (25-3-3). Goalie Kenny Negron made four saves to get his 12th shutout of the season for the No. 3-seeded Lancers. Newport Harbor is 16-7.

Garey 3, Paramount 0
Victor Portillo had one goal and one assist to lead visiting Garey (24-2-1). Goalie Edgar Chavez recorded his 17th shutout of the season for the second-seeded Vikings. Paramount is 14-7-4.

La Palma Kennedy 1, Arcadia 1 (Kennedy wins on penalty kicks, 4-2)
Trevor Rice scored in the 76th minute for host La Palma Kennedy (14-8-2). Goalie Scott Loveless stopped two penalty kicks to preserve the win for the Fighting Irish. Richard Galvin scored the goal for Arcadia (17-7-5).

DIVISION IV

Coachella Valley 2, Cathedral 1
Leonel Leon and Hector Balpierra both scored one goal for visiting Coachella Valley (22-4), the second seed in Division IV.

Brian French scored the winning goal in sudden death to lead visiting Garden Grove Pacifica.

Chris Bower scored the winning goal in the 60th minute for visiting Paraclete (19-5-4), the No. 1 seed in Division V. Sierra Vista is 18-4-2.

Salesian 3, Oaks Christian 1
Three different players scored for host second-seeded Salesian (21-3-2), which advanced to the semifinals for the second consecutive year.

Alex Diaz and T.J. Schau each scored one goal for host St. Bonaventure (18-2-3). Goalie Matt Davis made eight saves and notched his 15th shutout for the third-seeded Seraphs.

Windward 1, Thacher 0
Jamie Melas scored the game’s only goal on a penalty kick in the 20th minute of the first half for host Windward (16-3-3). No. 2-seeded Thacher (12-2-1) was called for a penalty for a takedown on a Windward breakaway to set up Melas’ kick.

DIVISION I

Ayala 3, Edison 1
Michael Randolph had the hat trick and Brad Ameluxen made six saves for his 10th shutout for host Ayala (15-5-5), which plays Esperanza Thursday. Edison was ranked No. 2 by the Times and seeded second in Division I.

Bell Gardens 4, Servite 0
Sophomore Celso Alvarez had a goal, tallying his 20th goal of the season, and keeper Pablo Munoz made 10 saves to record his 15th shutout of the season for host Bell Gardens (16-4-3).

Damien 3, Fountain Valley 2 (sudden death)
Mark Moreno had two goals, including the game-winner in the 17th minute of sudden death, and one assist in the for visiting top-seeded Damien (26-2-2), which is ranked No. 1 in the Southland by The Times. Senior captian Matt Brummett had both goals for seventh-ranked Fountain Valley (18-5-3), which outshot the Spartans, 19-11.

Diamond Ranch 3, Palmdale 2
Jerry Martinez scored the game-winning goal in the 85th minute to lead No. 3-seeded Diamond Ranch (20-3-3). Aldo Luna and Jose Camarena each added a goal for Diamond Ranch.

Esperanza 3, Upland 0 (OT)
Timmy Jepson, Matt Kristoff and B.J. Pugmire each scored in overtime and Justin Etherton made seven saves for host Esperanza (22-4-2). Erik Dain had 11 saves for Upland (19-4-3).

Quartz Hill 1, Mater Dei 1 (Quartz Hill wins in penalty kicks, 8-7)
Mike Davis made 34 saves and scored the game-winning penalty kick and El Shaddai Bent scored the tying goal, his fourth goal of the playoffs, in the 52nd minute for visiting Quartz Hill (18-6-1), which plays Damien Thursday. Scott Corbin scored for Mater Dei (13-3-6).

Redlands East Valley 0, Alta Loma O (Redlands East Valley wins on penalty kicks, 4-3)
Keeper Andrew Roaff made 17 saves and Jeremy Glauser scored the game-winning penalty kick for host No. 4-seeded Redlands East Valley (22-2-2), which was played at Crafton Park .

Santa Margarita 1, Rancho Cucamonga 0 (sudden death)
Jeff Curtis scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Ryan Munoz in the second minute of sudden death and keeper Jeff Azaula made eight saves to record his ninth shutout of the season for visitng Santa Margarita (16-6-4), which posted its seventh shutout in a row. Rancho Cucamonga finishes 17-4-4.

DIVISION II

Calabasas 2, Tesoro 2 (Calabasas wins on penalty kicks, 4-1)
Michael Stewart scored the game-tying goal in 80th minute and Ben Van Der Fluit added one goal for visiting Calabasas (18-4-5). Tesoro is 13-5-6.

Loyola 2, Villa Park 0
Sophomore midfielder Scott Larrabee scored in the 53rd minute and junior forward Todd Smith added a goal in the 66th minute to lead host Loyola (24-4-3). Juniors Conor Harding and Tim Walter combined for seven saves to record Loyola’s 18th shutout of the season.

Newport Harbor 4, Valley View 0
Senior forward Joel Walker scored four goals and Taylor Carver made four saves to record his second shutout of the playoffs to lead visiting Newport Harbor (16-6). Walker has 35 goals on the season.

Peninsula 1, Hart 0
Senior Dylan Byrne scored in the 12th minute to lead Peninsula (12-9-6) past Hart (18-6-3).

Riverside Poly 1, Chaparral 0
Joel Mojica scored in the seventh minute and Gilbert Diaz made five saves for his 15th shutout for host Riverside Poly (21-4-2), which plays at Calabasas on Thursday.

St. Francis 5, Westlake 2
Visiting St. Francis scored five consecutive goals after falling behind, 2-0, in the first eight minutes of the game. Chris Hertz had his second hat trick of the season for St. Francis (24-5-1), which will play Corona del Mar in a quarterfinal Thursday at a site to be determined Wednesday morning. Jeff Buddenbohn and Clark Sanchez-Figueras also scored a goal for the defending Division II co-champion Golden Knights. Westlake is 16-8-2.

Thousand Oaks 2, Dos Pueblos 0
Jason Leopoldo had one goal and one assist, Pedro Gonzales also scored once and Paul Lupanow had one assist for visiting top-seeded Thousand Oaks (24-3-3), which plays Newport Harbor on Thursday. Dos Pueblos is 13-8-3.

Luis Macias scored both goals, including the game-winner in the 68th minute, to lead visiting Artesia (17-4-4). Diego Amaya scored in the 27th minute for Torrance (17-7-3).

Victor Portillo scored the game-winning goal and Cesar Rivera added a goal in the 79th minute to lead visiting Garey (23-2-1) over Walnut (19-7-1).

La Palma Kennedy 1, Saddleback 0
Jeremy Arrunategui scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute to lead host La Palma Kennedy (13-8-2) over top-seeded Saddleback (23-3-1), ranked No. 3 by The Times. Scott Loveless made 12 saves for his second consecutive playoff shutout for the defending co-champion Fighting Irish, which snapped Saddleback’s 13-game unbeaten streak.

South Torrance 2, La Habra 0
Kyle Schmid and Masahiro Kaneda each scored, Yukihiro Kaneda had two assists and Jeff Kimura made three saves for his sixth shutout to lead host South Torrance (17-3-7), which plays at Corona Thursday. La Habra is 16-5-2.

Cathedral 2, Baldwin Park 2 (Cathedral wins on penalty kicks, 5-4)
Senior midfielder Daniel Diaz scored the game-winning penalty kick and also scored in the 35th minute to lead visiting Catherdral (18-1-1). Goalie Moises Lopez made three saves for Cathedral in the round of penalty kicks.

Century 3, Rubidoux 0
Xavier Perez scored two goals, giving him four in two playoff games, for Century. Michael Sanchez also scored and Mario Hernandez recorded his second shutout of the playoffs with six saves for Century (18-5-1). Rubidoux finished 17-5-2.

Coachella Valley 3, Colton 2
Jose Duenes scored the game-winner in the 75th minute for host Coachella Valley (21-4), which plays Cathedral Thursday.

King 4, Cathedral City 0
Jacob Shumway scored the first goal and Matt Nava recorded his 15th shutout to lead visiting King (19-4-4). Cathedral City si 11-11-2.

Rio Mesa 2, Santa Ynez 1
Jon Schwarze scored the game-winning goal with two minutes remaining to lift visiting Rio Mesa (18-7), which led, 1-0, at halftime. Santa Ynez (12-5-4).

Santa Ana Valley 4, Ganesha 3
Cesar Sanchez, Luis Alvarez and Elmer Vega each had a goal and Juan Tolento scored the game-winning goal in the 70th minute for host Santa Ana Valley (16-10-2). Yelson Flores had two goals and George Gutierrez added a goal for top-seeded Ganesha (24-2). The game was tied, 2-2, at the half.

Bryan Morales scored in the 53rd minute and Dan Pohlman made nine saves for his ninth shutout to lead visiting Oaks Christian (15-3-4).

Paraclete 3, Silverado 0
Freshman forward Chris Williams scored two goals and senior Josh Hernandez added another goal to lead defending-champion Paraclete (18-5-4) over previously undefeated Silverado. Goalie Kyle Burkhardt made two saves for No. 1-seeded Paraclete to record his 17th shutout of the season. The referees nearly had to cancel the game at halftime due to inappropriate sideline conduct by visiting Silverado fans.

Keeper Alan De La Cruz made four saves and recorded his 13th shutout of the season to lead visiting No. 2-seeded Salesian (20-3-2).

Brent Vander Eyk had three goals and one assist to lead visiting Ontario Christian (17-5-3), which hosts Carpenteria Thursday. Oxford Academy is 9-8-3.

St. Bernard 3, Avalon 2
Geovany Heenandez had two goals and Brian Locke scored the game-winner in 32nd minute to lead host St. Bernard (8-7-6) over Avalon (11-7). Both teams scored all their goals in the first half.

St. Bonaventure 5, Whittier Christian 0
Kevin Dolinar had two goals and Glenn Wakam, Tommy Dixon and Chris Diaz each added a goal for visiting St. Bonaventure (17-2-3). Keeper Matt Davis had six saves and recorded his 13th shutout of the year for the Seraphs.

St. Margaret’s 2, Mary Star 1 (sudden death)
Junior midfielder Kevin Fathi scored in the first half and senior forward Parker Redmond scored the game-winning goal in sudden death to lead St. Margaret’s (17-5-2) past visiting Mary Star (13-6-5). Andrew Bradford scored in the second half to tie the game for Mary Star.

Thatcher 4, Arrowhead Christian 2
P.J. Benner had two goals and Davie Connick had one goal and one assist for visiting Thatcher (12-1-1). Connick usually starts in goal, but broke his hand in the previous game and played left wing instead. Arrowhead Christian is 14-8-1.

Windward 2, Oak Park 0
Danny Fujikawa and Dustin Minnium each had a goal and keeper Gabe Elsner made 12 saves for visiting Windward (15-6-3).
