Energy efficiency: In the Aug. 20 Business section, an article about a Natural Resources Defense Council report calling on California officials to expand energy efficiency programs said that such programs would shrink utility bills by $2 billion this year. The date range began in 2014 and the article should have stated that it was an additional $2 billion on top of $90 billion saved over the last four decades.

Westfield Century City: In the Aug. 21 Business section, an article about Westfield Corp.’s makeover of its Century City mall said that Nordstrom Inc. would move a store there from Westside Pavilion. The article described the current Nordstrom space as being about 100,000 square feet; it is 150,000 square feet.

Lincoln fire: In the Aug. 18 California section, an article about the unusually rapid spread of the Lincoln fire in Montebello and unincorporated Los Angeles County was accompanied by a photo of a water-dropping aircraft described as a DC-10 “Super Scooper.” The aircraft was a DC-10, but the nicknames “Super Scooper” and “Superscooper” apply to the Bombardier 415.
