Man struck by car on 210 Freeway in Azusa dies
A man died late Friday night after being hit by a car in the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway in Azusa, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 11:55 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Witnesses had called in earlier to report that a shirtless and barefoot man had been seen running back and forth across the freeway, authorities said.
The driver involved in the incident was not arrested.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were closed while the incident was investigated but were quickly reopened. The victim has not been identified.
