Boy, 16, shot at Inland Empire high school, in serious condition
A 16-year-old boy was shot and seriously injured on Thursday night while on the grounds of a San Bernardino County high school.
Ontario police were called about 9:30 p.m. to Chaffey High School on the report of a shooting, Ontario police Cpl. Fred Alvarez said.
Officers found the teen and he was taken to a hospital, where he is listed in serious condition, Alvarez said.
At the time of the gunfire, the school did not have a scheduled activity, and the boy is not a student at the school.
