Three adults were critically injured Tuesday afternoon during a shooting at an Inglewood apartment complex, police said.
Officers responded to a call in the 11700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard at 12:51 p.m., said Inglewood Police Officer Paul Hawkins.
Three adults were critically wounded, according to KTLA-TV Channel 5. One person was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene, said Los Angeles County fire inspector Tony Akins. One victim was possibly a child, he said, though Inglewood police said they had no reports of a child being involved.
A neighbor told KCAL-TV Channel 9 she saw a woman running up and down the street at the scene.
“She was screaming, saying someone came inside her house and hurt her family. She was screaming on the top of her lungs,” the woman said.
Police are looking a suspect, Hawkins said. No other information was available.
