L.A. Now Live: Latest on suspects in Northridge girl’s abduction

The investigation into the abduction of a 10-year-old Northridge girl from her bedroom in the middle of the night continued Thursday, with police searching for two men and a second vehicle.

The girl was taken from her home sometime between 1 and 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Police said they believe two men were involved and have already taken one black pickup truck into custody. Investigators are searching for a second vehicle they believe was involved.

The girl was gone for half a day before she reappeared in a medical center parking lot in Woodland Hills just before 3 p.m. She had cuts and bruises to her face and was dropped off by an unidentified person or persons, police said.

She was also wearing different clothes than when she was last seen by her mother.
