To the editor: Ah, spring, when a young man’s fancy turns to thoughts of … affirmative consent, role-playing exercises and modeling strategies as precursors to intimacy. Let’s thank party girls short on common sense, the Neanderthal creeps who take advantage and the bureaucrats who have to “fix” everything for putting the last few nails in the coffin of romance. (“Waiting until college to teach about affirmative consent is too late,” Op-Ed, Nov. 23)
If consent can’t wait for college, neither can the quaint idea of teaching all children to appreciate differences and respect one another.
