Baseball: Justin Campbell gets save to help USA U12 team advance

Justin Campbell of Simi Valley struck out the only two batters he faced to pick up the save on Friday in the USA 12U baseball team’s 2-0 victory over Brazil in the quarterfinals of the International Baseball Federation World Cup in Taipei City.
He came in with the potential go-ahead run at the plate in the sixth inning and got two strikeouts to end the game.
USA advances to a Saturday semifinal matchup against unbeaten Japan (7-0).
