Pasadena La Salle may have to create an award for graduating senior Caroline Knop, because what she accomplished in sports and in the classroom the last four years will be hard to top.
Headed to Michigan to play for the women’s volleyball team, Knop earned 16 varsity letters in volleyball, golf, basketball and softball at La Salle. Her GPA was 3.8.
By the numbers as compiled by her father, Kurt, she had 1,807 career digs, participated in 407 contests as a varsity athlete, played in 35 playoff games for four sports and made all-league 12 times.
She fulfilled the goal of experiencing high school life to its fullest.
