Cross country: Loyola’s Charlie Sherman wins Mt. Carmel Invitational

Senior Charlie Sherman of Loyola had the fastest time at Saturday’s Mt. Carmel Invitational, running 15:26 to lead a dominating team performance by the Cubs.
Loyola ran away with the overall team title. Mission Viejo finished second, according to PrepCalTrack.com.
LaCosta Canyon won the girls’ team title.
