Football: Antonio Pierce is the choice to be Long Beach Poly coach
Antonio Pierce, who played in the NFL for nine years, is the choice to become Long Beach Poly’s football coach. The Gazettes.com reported his selection and it has been confirmed.
Pierce would take over for Raul Lara, who resigned.
Pierce doesn’t have any head coach experience but he has ties to the community and is expected to try to retain members of Poly’s coaching staff.
