Football: Innocent Okoh of Palisades is Western League player of the year

Senior running back Innocent Okoh of Palisades has been selected the player of the year in the Western League.

The co-offensive players of the year were junior quarterback Jonathan Murphy of Westchester and freshman quarterback Luca Diamont of Venice.

The co-defensive players of the year were linebacker Quinn Perry of Palisades and defensive back Jamarie Blakey of Westchester. The offensive lineman of the year was junior Syr Riley of Palisades. The defensive lineman of the year was Keith Shelmon of Venice.

The kicker of the year was Obed Hernandez of Fairfax. The punter of the year was Perry of Palisades.
