Football: Junior Jalani Ellison is gaining attention at Reseda

Reseda is excited about junior receiver-defensive back Jalani Ellison, a 6-foot, 165-pound athlete who’s starting to develop into a standout, Coach Alonso Arreola said.

He played JV as a freshman before moving up to varsity late in the season. He made major contributions last season on varsity as a sophomore and is starting to mature physically and in the classroom.

Now the Regents are ready to take advantage of his athleticism and skills.

His cousin is former Reseda and Pierce College receiver Xavier Ubosi, who signed with Alabama Birmingham.
