Football: Mission League is loaded with top receivers
With apologies to the Trinity League, it’s the Mission League where the best group of receivers wil be found this fall in high school football. At least that’s the opinion of college recruiters based on their scholarship offers.
There’s junior David Long of Loyola, senior Desean Holmes of Alemany, senior Deontay Burnett of Gardena Serra, juniors Tyler Vaughns and Trevon Sidney of Bishop Amat, senior CJ Sanders of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and senior Brandyn Lee and junior Dymond Lee of Chaminade.
It will be a great opportunity for defensive backs to show what they can do trying to cover the group this fall.
