Football: St. Francis QB Ty Gangi has team 5-0 [Video]

One of the surprise standouts during the first six weeks of the high school football season has been 6-foot-2 senior quarterback Ty Gangi of St. Francis. He has led the Golden Knights to a 5-0 record.
On Friday night, he passed for four touchdowns, ran for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass in a 48-14 rout of Monrovia.
“The kids love him,” Coach Jim Bonds said. “Our kids rally around him.”
Gangi was a backup last season. Given a chance to play this season, he has performed well every week. He passed for 303 yards against Monrovia.
