Girls’ basketball: Paige Fecske scores 18 points on her birthday to lead Chaminade

It was only fitting on her 18th birthday, Paige Fecske of Chaminade scored 18 points to help the Eagles defeat Etiwanda, 67-56, in overtime on Tuesday night. Fecske had nine points in the overtime. She wasn’t about to let Etiwanda ruin her birthday.
Chaminade (9-1) received 20 points and 15 rebounds from Melissa Wright.
Valerie Higgins added 14 points and eight steals.
